Born and raised in Montana, I've been spoiled by my surroundings: the mountains, plains, lakes, and rivers. My earliest memories are woven into them: long days at Yellowstone watching elk bugle, riverside picnics interrupted by trout snagging a dry fly, pasture walks under skies blazing pink at sunset, and the quiet of mountain winters.
Photography became my way of honoring those places, and eventually, of capturing something deeper: the in-between moments that seem too ordinary to photograph, but are too meaningful to forget.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm likely drinking too much tea, out on an adventure, or cuddling with my chunky cat, Moose. I love slow mornings (ideally with a brekkie burrito), laughing until my cheeks hurt, and I'm perpetually wishing fall would last half the year.
